Effective 16.05.2012: LDV Laser- und Lichtsysteme GmbH took over business of LDV-Systeme GmbH.

LDV-Systeme GmbH was founded in 1999 and develops, produces, sales and supports systems for non-contact speed and length measurement based on Laser Doppler principle. These systems are used world-wide for mass-flow control as well as for elongation measurement in all kind of hot and cold rolling mill application.
In 2008 the portfolio was expanded to visual surface inspection lighting. The patented iLux lighting principle is used in strip processing lines to supply an optimised light for the human eye of the inspector.
